Odoo ERP – Common Questions
1. What is the difference between Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise?
Odoo Community is the open-source, free edition with strong core functionality. Odoo Enterprise is a licensed edition that includes additional features, mobile apps and enterprise-only modules. We work with both, and we recommend the edition based on your usage, team size and budget.
2. Do you provide Odoo Enterprise licences?
No. Licences are handled directly between the customer and Odoo. We help you choose the right plan, estimate the required user count and support you in the technical implementation. We are not an authorised Odoo partner yet, but we are in the process of becoming one.
3. Can you migrate from my existing software to Odoo?
Yes. We can migrate master data (customers, suppliers, items), opening balances and selected transaction history from legacy systems such as Excel, Tally or other ERPs, subject to data availability and quality.
4. Where will my Odoo be hosted?
We support both on-premise (your own server) and cloud-based deployments. Hosting choice depends on data sensitivity, IT policy, budget and access requirements of your team.
5. How long does an Odoo implementation take?
Timeline depends on the number of modules, customisations and data migration complexity. A basic implementation can take a few weeks, while a multi-department rollout with custom development may take a few months. We always break the project into milestones so you see value early.
